Founded in January 2005, the Rugby Brewing Company appointed experienced brewer Kevin Featherstone to commission the 16-barrel plant and oversee the production of a diverse range of traditional cask ales based of a 'rugby' theme.

The company moved to its current location early in 2008.

Rugby Brewing Company are a member of SIBA and directly the local free trade, with national coverage via wholesalers and other brewers.
